Four of those years were spent as a partner in a large veterinary hospital. Dr. Randy began his career in veterinary medicine more than 23 years ago when he became a kennel assistant in high school and now he has been led to practice ownership here in Dacula.
Dr. Randy and his wife, Dr. Destiny, have a beautiful daughter and adorable twin boys. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Randy's interests include fishing, hiking, gardening, and relaxing with his family.

Dr. Bremer loves the diversity of general practice, but has a special interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery & client education.
Outside of work she & her husband Ryan like spending time outdoors camping, hiking and kayaking. They share their home with their 2 dogs Logan and Little Squirrel, and Baby Cat, who is aptly named because he showed up at their home as a feral kitten and picked them to be his parents.

Josette Greider - Hospital Administrator
"My husband Jacob and I have 7 animals. Five cats (Mac, Marley, Mila, Stevie, and Poe) and two pitties (Gryffindor and Ravenclaw). All of which are spoiled rotten. I started working at Apalachee River Animal Hospital in August of 2012. Even after all this time, I still enjoy coming into work every single day because I absolutely love what I do! Our doctors & staff genuinely care about each patient that walks in the door. Their passion definitely shows in their work, and with the lives they touch."
Marsha Ballard - Veterinary Assistant
I have been in the veterinary field since 1996 and have spent 13 of those years working in emergency medicine and ICU. I have been a part of the team at Apalachee River Animal Hospital for almost 7 years as a R.V.T. The most rewarding part of my job is being able to build relationships with our patients and their owners. When I’m not working, I spend all of my spare time with my 4 horses riding and training.
Veronica Pietras - Veterinary Assistant, Nutritional Consultant
I grew up in NJ, and moved to Georgia 4 years ago from Florida with my husband, our dog Oakley, and cat Sterling. I briefly strayed from the field of veterinary medicine twice, but my heart always led me back to the profession I love. I have a special interest in feline medicine but also cannot resist the unconditional love of a dog. In my free time I go camping with my husband & dog, Oakley. Sterling prefers staying at home and cuddling up with me & a good book

Brandi Wilson - Registered Veterinary Technician
Brandi joined our team in the spring of 2016.
Growing up I've always had a love for animals. I entered the veterinary field in 2008. I then decided to take my careeer to the next level & received my degree & became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2013. The following summer my husband Ryan, our cat Carl & I moved from Wisconsin to Georgia. I am beyond thrilled that ARAH & I found each other; I couldn't ask for a better hospital to work for or a better staff to be a part of. Most of my time is dedicated to my work & animals, but when I do have free time my husband Ryan & I enjoy grilling & entertaining friends. This is Carls favorite activity too because he LOVES attention & insists on sitting in anyone's lap that will pet or feed him!

My husband and I are recent empty nesters with 2 sons that graduated from Georgia Tech. We are looking forward to enjoying more time together in the great outdoors going hiking and backpacking.
Caitlin Hosford - Technician Assistant
I have grown up in a family that has more animals than it does people! Starting with my pets, my passion for animals has grown and driven me to pursue a career in veterinary practice. I have recently graduated from The University of Georgia with a bachelors degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in biology. My long term goal is to apply to Veterinary school and become a veterinarian as good as the ones working here at Apalachee River Animal Hospital. Additional to being a Technician Assistant, I braid horses manes for hunter-jumper shows. I am very thankful to be able to surround myself with animals on a daily basis.
Susan Maka, Technician Assistant
"I have been working in the veterinary field for the past 4 years, 3 years in animal shelter work and one year at a veterinary practice in Mississippi. After working as an EMT for 3 years I decided that working with animals was my passion, and have never looked back! I have 3 dogs; Lula, and 8 year old Rat Terrier mix, Hallie, a 4 year old Cocker Spaniel mix, and Bogart, my 3 year old Chihuahua.
Reagan Reese, Technician Assistant
Beginning my veterinary science career working alongside the Apalachee team is an amazing experience. Currently I have two rescue dogs, Wilbur & Mela. In my free time I enjoy camping, hiking, swimming and volunteering for the Georgia SPCA. I hope to continue with the career I love in animal science.

We have two dogs Roxy and Odin. I have been in this industry since 2006, and I have an extreme love for animals. I have been at ARAH since June 2008, and in my experience, I have never worked for a more exceptional, compassionate, or thorough group of doctors and staff. I couldn’t ask for a better job, and I look forward to many more years serving the Dacula area.
Mickey Nuzzo - Customer Care Representative
After 29 years as a veterinary receptionist it still surprises me how much I love what I do. I started as a part time receptionist in 1985 at a large animal hospital in New Jersey. After 18 years we decided to move to Florida where I continued in this field for another 10 years. Just recently we moved to Georgia to be near family and that is what brought me to ARAH. As a new team member to this exceptional animal hospital I look forward to many more years working at a job I love coming to everyday.
Alyssa Toner - Customer Care Representative

As a new team member, I am thoroughly excited to begin my journey into this field here at Apalachee River Animal Hospital!

"I'm the mom of three incredible kids who inspire me daily. They are also particularly responsible for the zoo at home, consisting of four dogs, two cats, two birds, two turtles, fish, and a sweet three legged bearded dragon. I have always been around animals of all kinds, and working here is a dream, as I can be with animals all day. I am so excited to work here and am excited to learn all I can."
Laura Cooper - Groomer
Laura has been with Apalachee River Animal Hospital since 2012, but has been grooming for over 25 years!
I enjoy making peoples pets look and feel their best. Being a part of the team at Apalachee River Animal Hospital is particularly rewarding because I can rely on the entire staff in making the dogs and cats I groom get the best care from head to toe.
